The Art of Good Fortune Project
The idea came to me for The Art of Good Fortune in 2005 during an NLP
(Neuro Linguistic Programming) practice group in Leeds, when one of the delegates
asked about manifesting wealth and wanted me to devote a future evening to this
theme. As I began to prepare for this future event, it occurred to me that
"Good Fortune" was a far more universal concept than simply wealth creation
and began to construct some of the themes that would later become the central
elements in the beta tester versions of "The Art of Good Fortune" series of workshops.
We held the first workshop in 2005 with a very small group of only 14
delegates from a wide range of backgrounds. During this event we explored
the following areas:
- The power of intention in manifesting outcomes
- The law of attraction in energy exchanges
- Creating excellent decision making strategies
- The principle of "connection" when applied to the sense of identity
- Determining individual and group definitions for Good Fortune
In May 2006, I ran an updated and more accelerated version of this event with
a larger number of delegates. Those invited came from a wide range of backgrounds,
and included NLP trainers, business people, teachers, doctors and other diverse
professions. A condition of attendance included completing a series of exercises
ahead of attending the event and an agreement not to disclose the content of the
event to others.

What people are saying...
It was extremely interesting overall, particularly the metals, colours and
shapes. The most useful thing for me was clarifying my overall goals, and
getting a true shape in place that I can follow.
It was like rocket fuel, it put the energy and intention behind my good
wishes to give me a kick start into reality. I have now rented an office in
central Brighton to do my therapy from, I've also been booked for a 2 day
mini-cruise as the onboard holistic therapist (to give educational talks and
taster sessions), I'm seeing more clients, I've got a partner now and we are
working out workshops and maybe a franchise and I've got a well paid 2-month
4-day a week contract in an office, with a potential long-term contract to
do NLP and project work as well as PA'ing there. These things move quickly
once you put the energy behind them.
I would definitely recommend the course to anyone, and will jump at the
chance of being involved in any future workshops.

Even though I had already done lots of NLP "The art of good fortune"
enabled me to see things in a new light and experience some amazing new
stuff! A great day and a big thank you to Nick and the assistants Dr Elton &

Having studied NLP with Nick, I knew his Art Of Good Fortune seminar was
going to be a cracker. I had no idea what to expect, as I knew it would be
rather different to NLP. It was particularly interesting analysing what Good
Fortune means to me and finding out how my interpretation differs to other
students, all the while knowing that no one interpretation or strategy is
right or wrong. The question that loomed over my head was... "Can good
fortune be reproduced?". Now that it's been a couple of months, I can
wholeheartedly answer "yes". A contract extension, a payrise, a VISA
approval are just some of the successes i've had recently. Not to mention
all the amazing new personal development distinctions i've made since the
day.
Truly Highly Recommended! 10/10.
